Sometimes the most rebellious thing is to be happy, healthy and strong,

no matter what others might say

Hi, my name is Elizabeth Rise-Harth I’m a Certified Life Coach, NLP Practitioner, and Hypnotherapist. I coach people coming out of abusive relationships with Complex-PTSD to compassionately understand where their struggles come from and how to create an everyday routine of activities conductive to carry out their healing and feel more peaceful and content as a baseline

I’m combining coaching with inside knowledge from my own experience of trauma and emotional abuse. Thanks to that, my clients can receive practical coaching support specific to people who experience symptoms of CPTSD. In my practice, I offer psychoeducation and skills helping to improve:

  • emotional regulation
  • managing emotional flashbacks
  • symptom management
  • increase productivity
  • improve overall wellbeing and day-to-day life

It might be valuable to remember that my practice is not a replacement for therapy, but it is supplementing it with practical guidance and empathy.

During my work with Elizabeth, I’ve experienced a decent drop in anxiety and obsessive thoughts over my ex in a relatively short period of time. My overall state has improved. I felt tremendously understood and validated regarding narcissistic abuse. She is empathetic, smart, sharp, insightful, funny and skilled. I highly recommend her!

Karen

I want to thank you for you being there for me, and for your engagement in our coaching process.

You went with me through one of my darkest times, there were moments I thought I wouldn’t make it. And thanks to your I can say I’m in the best place in my life (my apartment) and in my head I’ve ever been.
Thank you

Mark

I feel relief in being understood in a way that most people just don’t understand (CPTSD, therapists included), and I’m encouraged by how practical and goal-oriented the work and materials are. Your own experience having gone through this process matters a lot to me, too.

I feel there’s great value in what you have to offer and the little ways in we’ve already gone.

Sonja

Our conversations helped to ground me in the midst of my spiral. Certainly I did better for having had the chance to speak to someone who doesn’t question my reaction to things.

Many thanks for everything!

Kate

I was suffering from some emotional problems. It was going on for 1-2 years and then it started to be getting worse. First I used to cry, then it got to self-hurt and rage.

I was in pain and I needed help.

Now with our talks and the work with all the tiny exercises, I am doing good. I started expressing myself through my creativity, and thanks to that I met new, supportive people. I can also recognize better what kind of people are good for me. This is great, this material is just amazing. THANK U SO MUCH.

Michael

I was out of the scope of my imagination when we started. Didn’t realize things could get so much better for me. My overall state rise is mine and your success. So thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Kim

A sign of the current state of affairs, that you will be able to appreciate, is that now I’ve developed a side of me that can suppress the urge to apologize for not doing/feeling better.

I have to admit that you were one of the little rocks I could cling to. I was in doubt if I should mention that, because it might be felt as a burden on your side, I mean it as a compliment, our talks helped me. I knew I wouldn’t drown without you, but I felt that with you, I could float a little easier.

Now I feel I’m back in the land of the living.

I want to send you a heartfelt *thank you*, for the insights you have been able to give me, and for your patience, kindness, and effort. I’m really very glad that I met you, and very glad for the path you set me on.

I wish you nothing but the best.

Emma

I was as emotionally stable as a goldfish in the beginning and felt a lot of shame about it, especially at my work.

But now I started to be kind of honest to my teammates about that (that’s new, it took some effort), and I also learned to give myself all the room in the world to… have enough of everything and take a break from everything.

Right now I’m calmer.

Thanks a lot, I feel good about doing this

Jane

I’m happy about our conversations and this way of doing things – focusing on health and daily habits. It feels right.

I’ve also been recalling what you said about “lack of willpower” being a useless concept, and that maybe patience and compassion for my limitations and old strategies would be a better approach. It’s great that you have a “tiny changes” approach. I can do that!

I don’t share your data with anyone. This is for my information only.

What can I do for you as a coach?

In my approach, I combine a cognitive-behavioral perspective with emotional literacy and somatic work to help people develop better self-awareness, teach them how to overcome difficult emotions, and create more of the desired ones.

I can provide information and education about trauma and abuse, and their effects.

I can help you build healthy practices that help stabilize mood and regulate emotions.

I can help you establish healthy priorities in life, find your core values, and guide you in rediscovering and reinventing your sense of Self and identity away from the abuser.

I can help you embrace your emotional nature, recover your relationship with emotions so that you are not lost in the storm anymore, but can reliably navigate your feelings, and use them in a constructive way, as a source of intuition, motivation and energy for creating and living a life that is fulfilling and deeply meaningful.

This might be for you if:

  • You’ve recently left an abusive relationship, and you wish to steady the storm and never repeat it again.
  • Some recent events triggered your abuse trauma from the past, it’s not the first time, and you’d like to be done with the shadows of the past upsetting your life.
  • You found the pandemic restrictions open up old wounds, and you’d like to heal them.
  • You’re looking to help your recovery process by learning practical skills and techniques to manage everyday life better and develop resources you can rely on to help you in challenging moments effectively.
  • You want to overcome your current challenges and create a focused, meaningful, and fulfilling life in the future.

Typically during coaching, I’m helping my clients soothe and build themselves up. If my clients feel stronger, calmer, and more self-reliant, their healing process gains foundations to become quicker and easier.

We focus on developing clarity and self-supportive everyday habits, which helps them feel more steady and balanced. This helps decrease their stress and increase confidence.
